Aside from our luau party collection decorations, tropical faux flowers and leaves definitely help transport guests to a party paradise. The two pictured are monstera and palm leaves. They are a very versatile decor item with many different applications, some of which we have suggested below.
GIFT WRAP: Use clear tape to attach a flat Monstera leaf to the top of a plain gift box before wrapping it with ribbon.
SERVING DISHES: Use floral wire to attach leaf stems to serving dishes such as cupcake stands.
You can also place the flat monstera leaves beneath dishes or drink dispensers to accent them.CENTERPIECES: Intertwine monstera and palm leaf stems beneath a ceramic pineapple for a beautiful centerpiece.
For table decor try a table runner made out of intertwined monstera and palm leaf stems with a ceramic pineapple centerpiece with cupcake toppers used as confetti sprinkled around the edge to add a pop of pink! Candles help anchor your centerpiece while adding ambiance.
Place cards are a wonderful way to welcome guests to their seats! For these place settings I used cutlery, plates and napkins from Dollar Tree, all of which were placed onto wire placemats from DII. Pineapple drink stirrers from Amazon were the perfect way to dress up these simple green paper cups from Dollar Tree!

MAI TAI PUNCH
You can't have a Luau Party without serving some tropical beverages! Mixing up a large batch of punch is much easier than the mess of making individual drinks so we've included our all time favorite Mai Tai Punch recipe below. It serves 20-25 people and is sure to be a hit with your guests!
Mix the following ingredients together and serve in a drink dispenser next to a cute "Cheers" or "Tiki Bar" sign!
1 - 96 oz. Orange Juice
1 - 48 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 cup Grenadine Syrup
1 cup Almond Syrup
5 cups Malibu Rum
Optional: 1 fifth Meyers Dark Rum
(Place next to punch dispenser for guests to float one shot on top)
In order to please the masses, it's good to also have a beer option. Kona Brewing Company makes my all time favorite beer from Hawaii, Big Wave Golden Ale!
Include a few pops of tropical foliage next to your "Tiki Bar" sign! to add color and texture!
Celebrate and hydrate! These fun water bottle wraps dress up water bottles to serve your guests.
Plastic coconut cups make excellent & practical party favors! They’re eco-friendly and your guests can use them while at your celebration! Writing their names on straw flags is a festive way to help guests keep track of their drinks!

When it comes to sweets you can’t go wrong with cupcakes! Dress them up with these tropical toppers.
Bamboo trays on a bookshelf are a wonderful way to display self-serve treats! The vertical orientation is also a wonderful space saver!

These Tropical Rice Krispies Treat Pops and Chocolate Pretzel Rods are simple to make but make a big impression on your guests!
They can be served on your dessert table or handed out as party favors. We punched holes in these cupcake toppers and used them as decorative tags.

Photo Booth
Instax cameras are fun to use since the guests can get an instantly printed photo. Grass skirts, coconut bras and small tropical inflatables from Dollar Tree made for excellent props!
